Changes are afoot...

This year I'll be based in Melbourne, undertaking a Master of Film & Television (Narrative) at the Victorian College of the Arts where I've been accepted directly into second year of the two-year postgraduate course.

So that means I'll be making another film in 2016! Stay tuned...

'MEAT' screens at Flickerfest

We celebrated the New South Wales premiere of MEAT at Flickerfest on Monday night to a very receptive audience under the stars at Bondi Beach. I also had the privilege of introducing the film beforehand which MEAT stills photographer Stephen Godfrey, ever on the job, kindly captured.

A massive thank you to the many cast, crew, friends and friends of friends who came out to watch. It felt so special sharing our film with you at such a wonderful film festival. And many thanks to Flickerfest for having us!

'MEAT' monologue now in print

The monologue that inspired the film is now in print!

MEAT began its life as a monologue that I wrote at Australian Theatre for Young People (atyp)'s National Studio back in 2013, and then adapted for film with the support of Metro Screen and Screen NSW in 2014.

Published as part of Currency Press' latest compilation for The Voices Project, MEAT appears alongside other monologues developed over the last five years of ATYP's National Studio, all written for teenagers and dealing with a range of themes including love, death, place, food and secrecy.

'MEAT' selected for Australian competition at Flickerfest

I'm absolutely thrilled to announce that MEAT is an official selection of the Academy Award® accredited 25th Flickerfest International Short Film Festival!

We can't wait to celebrate our New South Wales premiere and share the film with all our Sydney based cast, crew, family, friends and supporters, without whom MEAT would not have been possible.
